First, note that there's a separate EI forum for this sort of question.
I'm going by the LEI version of this form, because that's what's handy at the moment, so excuse me if it doesn't exactly match what's on your screen.
When you create a DECS connection document to a Notes database, you should see a field giving you the option to "enforce form design". That enables computed fields.
If you don't want to do that, under Data Transformation find, "Formula to Execute Prior to Update", where @SetField or a FIELD statement should work. Note, however, that the formula you enter here should either return a value or include a SELECT statement, e.g.:
